Is there an artwork fee?

Yes, we require a one-time $50 artwork fee. If you decide to have the same design reprinted in the future, you won’t have to pay this again. Here are our preferred artwork files that’ll ensure the best imprint quality:

  • Vector file (usually a .AI or .EPS file type)

  • High resolution @ 300 dpi with dimensions of the final print size or larger (JPGs, PNGs, PDFs)

Can you print on shirts I already have?

Unfortunately no. We're only human so we might make a mistake and mess up a shirt. When we're 100% in charge of ordering shirts for you, we have access to extra shirts for any we mess up. This way, we send you your exact quantity all in awesome condition.

Can your graphic designers come up with a design for me?

Although we have designers on staff, they focus on prepping files to get you the best quality shirt possible, which means they dedicate their time only on that.

Do you have a minimum quantity?

We require a minimum quantity of 24 shirts per design. We’re able to print lower quantities than 24, but only on a case-by-case basis, and the price per piece will be at a higher price.

Can I mix and match shirt colors within my order?

Yes. We offer a $25 upgrade per shirt style swap.

Can half of my shirts have a different ink color?

Yes. We have a $25 fee per ink color swap.

What is the max numbers of ink you can print?

4, however we can print full color designs using a different imprint method. Click here for more details!

I need to order sizes from youth small to adult 3XL. Will the artwork look big enough on the larger shirt sizes?

Once we get your final quantity breakdown, we’ll size the artwork to the best dimensions that look good across all sizes. It has to be small enough to fit on the smallest size, and big enough to not look too small on the larger sizes.

As a result, the graphic will print the exact same size, no matter the size of the item we are printing on. If you would like to have different artwork sizes made for different item sizes, please let us know ahead of time. Each set of artwork sizes will be considered a different order, with pricing and minimums charged accordingly. Please keep the max imprint sizes in mind when printing girl and youth sized shirts.

For example, Widget Inc. orders 30 youth shirts and 50 unisex shirts with the same design, but wants the artwork on the youth shirts to be smaller. APDAT Print Co. will have to make 2 sets of screens. Widget Inc. will be quoted and charged for a set of 30 youth shirts and a set of 50 unisex shirts, NOT the 80 quantity pricing.

What is a vector file?

Typically an Illustrator or EPS file type, vector artwork can be scaled infinitely without loosing quality. Vector files use mathematical formulas rather than individual colored blocks, allowing it to resize without loosing resolution or image quality.

How do I convert my non-vector file into a vector file?

The opposite of vector is raster. There are websites available that will convert your artwork into a vector file, but it requires a little post-finessing. Leave it up to us to convert your artwork file! This will insure the best imprint quality.

How do I take care of my shirt?

A majority of print orders that we print are used with plastisol ink, which is plastic based. We don't recommend ironing the design in this case. It's best to wash your shirt inside out in cold water and use low heat when drying.

Can I cancel my order?

You have 24 hours to cancel your order from the time you submit payment. Cancelled orders are subject to a $50 cancellation fee and a 30% restocking fee.

Can I see a print sample of my shirt design?

The closest sample we provide is a digital mockup, shown in your quote sheet. A physical sample is not available, as it takes 3-4 hours for us to setup a print order.

How do I pay for my order?

Once your design details are finalized, you'll receive an invoice link payable via credit card. Once payment is submitted, we'll start production! If you prefer to pay via cash or check, you'll need to mail or drop off payment before we start production.

Do you charge tax?

Yes, unless you submit a tax exemption form prior to paying your invoice. Download a tax exemption form here.
